Dandelion Root And Cancer
Healing Cancer With a Root?
Cancer kills more people than probably any other illness on this planet. According to rapidlab.com cancer is the second leading cause of death in the US, with an estimated 1,685,210 new cancer cases diagnosed and 595,690 cancer deaths in 2016 alone. 〈source www.cdc.gov〉
Most of the cancers are incurable, however, there are treatments like radiation and chemotherapy that involve the clients being injected with the exact same cancerous cells which eliminate other cancer cells. However, in the procedure, healthy cells are also destroyed and the patient has to deal with lots of side effects.
And then there is a plant, that has got the power to eliminate those cancer cells without hurting the healthy ones. The wonderful plant in question is dandelion and it is getting importance as a fantastic herb that kills cancer cells.
What we need to know about Cancer Cells
Cancer cells are cells that cultivate and divide into other cells at an uncontrolled, fast rate. Cancer cells may be found in any person, the thing that makes them harmful is a point when the body’s immune protective cells fail to recognise them and damage them and they end up being deadly and spread cancer throughout the body.
Though in the past, it was believed by medical science that the growth of cancer cells was caused by weakness of body immune system and thus the immune system’s killer cells failed to acknowledge these cells and destroy them. But nowaday’s research study has shown that the failure to acknowledge the cancer cells is really the outcome of the absence of particular co-simulated molecules that help antigens respond with lymphocytes (these include the killer cells of the body immune system).
Canadian scientists claim that dandelion is 100 times more effective than chemotherapy. The research study on the cancer recovery properties of dandelion was done by the Department Of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the University Of Windsor, Canada. During the research and the subsequent experiments, it was found that the roots of dandelion really have not just the power to fight the cancer cells, but also kill them.
The greatest surprise was that unlike radiation and chemotherapy, this treatment did not damage the healthy cells and proved not to have the negative effects which are associated with treatments like chemotherapy in patients.
A man by the name of John Di Carlo (72) was given just a few months after being detected with cancer. He went through every possible treatment for cancer like chemotherapy and radiation in order to get his health back. This healthy period just lasted for 3 years after which physicians gave up and sent him home.
However, as a last resort, he came to understand that dandelion is a herb that eliminates cancer cells and instantly started drinking tea made from its roots. Throughout the prolonged duration of drinking dandelion tea, his cancer was in remission!
Dandelion tea has many benefits, it cleanses the kidneys, fights against allergies, and reduces cholesterol levels. Dandelion is also very rich in vitamin B6, vitamin C, iron, potassium, folic acid and magnesium.

Always look for dandelions in non-polluted fields, away from roads and urban areas. If you are allergic to ragweed or similar plants you may also be allergic to dandelion. Therefore, better to check first with your doctor.
Thanks a lot for reading,

Wow! This is vital information. The best thing about this is that it has no negative effects and it doesn’t affect healthy cells. I wonder what it tastes like. I thinking drinking this can help in cancer prevention.
Wow if this is 100% accurate for all types of cancer then its genius. A lot of people are going through expensive treatments but here we have dandelion roots that can actually help. I hope they can further their studies and approve this to all cancer patients.
love science and inventions. i love that our scientists and people responsible for such new discoveries are too keen on their passion for looking for new trends and treatments. Hopefully, there would be more like them sharing their time, knowledge and discoveries.
Wow! This was so informative, thanks for sharing. In my opinion, there is a cure to cancer but they earn more money with chemotherapy and radiation. Glad to know these alternative cures x
I’ve never heard about this until your post. I mean, you post such informative articles that really keep your readers curious and knowledgable. I’d definitely share this with the people I care about especially the ones who may be afraid of the big c.
This is amazing! I never heard about the benefits of dandelion roots. I knew some articles talking about cannabis against cancer, and even conspiracy about it, haha, but dandelion seems really promising. Cancer is such an awful and horrible disease, it really needs to be put to an end. Let’s hope in some years some promising and innovating meds will eradicate cancer, with good sides such as natural ways
I’ve heard good things about dandelion root. I read somewhere it is good for asthma too, which I have suffered with since I was 5 years old.
I only know dandelions because of their beauty. Never thought its roots has benefits! I think more research should go into this. Just to prove that it really has therapeutic effects
I’ll be honest, I only know dandelion as a cute little flower, that’s all. I didn’t know it helps with cancer, that’s good to know. I hope more patience will be cancer-free through this plant.
There has been studies on dandelion root extracts and I would like to look more into it. Immediately, the thing that comes to mind is that when we say extract, it is the nutrient/ingredient itself as opposed to making dandelion tea for example, where the amount of the nutrient/ingredient is significantly less.
But that is the great thing about science. We continue to learn and hopefully, cancer will finally have a non-intrusive non-invasive cure.
Wow! Fascinating. Thanks for sharing this information.
Awesome and important post. More reason for dandelion tea!
