To Make You Feel Fabulous and Attractive in 2017
Just as fashion styles, hairstyles keep constantly changing. A cut that was once ‘in’ might begin to look outdated.Fresh, new hairstyles that make you look younger are now taking over. If you are ready for a new look, then you have come to the right place. Here are some of the latest hairstyle trends to make you feel fabulous and attractive. Say ‘Yes’ to a New Look!
Probably the most important thing to start with is finding a hairdresser that is known and recommended by someone you know and trust, someone that your friend had a good experience with. You should be comfortable in discussing with your hairdresser on the style YOU want. Some hairdressers will try to get you on styles that they dreamed would be made for them. Be uncompromising in telling him or her what you want and even more what you don’t want!
Easy Hairstyles – Long Hair
Short hair cuts and bobs were the trends for many years, now famous celebrities have begun to wear hair longer and women everywhere are following the trend.Women’s hairstyles are experiencing a return to soft and feminine waves. Stiff, over-styled hair is out of date and flowing, natural hair is currently in style. Stick straight hair has lost its popularity. Long, wavy layers in response to the trend for longer wavy or curly hair is it this season. The short, choppy hair cuts are no longer in style this year. 2017 is the year of gorgeous long hairstyles and cuts.
Volume
Full hair with lots of volume is another one of the latest hairstyle trends for women. This look works for any type of hair, long or short.
Make short hair cuts more exciting with colour highlights or shiny curls. Check out this Curling Guide and learn how easy you can style your hair yourself at home with the right ‘tools’.
Hair Colour Ideas
The latest hairstyles feature lustrous coloured hair! Be brave, go for a striking red or a flamboyant blue to make yourself look and feel fabulous again!
Highlights are still seen but have lost quite a bit of popularity, and the trend is moving towards crazy color hair dye throughout.
70s Hairstyles
Just as 70s retro clothing has gained popularity again, 70s hairstyles are also making a comeback, with straight hair down to flatter your face and emanate romance. Flip the edges out for a little retro look.
Braiding
Braids in all variants have been a nice twist. The most popular style like French Braiding is a pretty easy to do yourself. First, brush your hair back. Use a comb (or your fingers) to section your hair off in a ‘V-formation’. Then take three pieces of hair from that section and start braiding. Make sure to grab more hair from each side every time you cross the hair over. Repeat this until the ends.
Healthy Hair
You should have your hair trimmed every three to four months if you want it to grow longer. Getting your hair trimmed regularly gets rid of damaged and split ends. Dead or split ends are the two main things that prevent your hair from growing. If your hair is coloured or damaged, go for a trim every 6 – 8 weeks.
Just keep playing around and try out what suits you best and what makes you feel fabulous and attractive! I’m not sure if I agree with getting your hair cut making your hair grow. I think the stimulation from a good hair wash and brushing might be the cause for it to grow more but having split ends cut off wouldn’t effect growth. The growth happens at the scalp end not the split end side.
Either way this was a great post. Thanks for the tips.
Hi Patty, oh oh …. yeah you are spot on right! I didn’t really make clear what I actually wanted to say, I guess. Of course doesn’t a hair cut make your hair grow. It’s more that your hair breaks easily when the ends are split or dry, so you’d think it’s not growing. While, when the ends are strong and healthy the hair doesn’t break and ‘grows’. Thanks a lot for pointing that out, I should probably edit that!
