Time Management Tips
5 Essential Hacks To Improve Your Productivity
Managing your time properly is not always an easy task. There is a whole legion of distractions presented to us by modern life that can easily disrupt our focus and throw us off target, and the stats show that productivity can take a major hit as a result. It doesn’t have to be this way, though. By implementing a few tried-and-true time management techniques, you too can get a handle on your daily routine.
1. Concentrate on What’s Important
Don’t waste time by fumbling around on less consequential activities that will give you a low return on your effort. Tackle your largest, most impactful tasks first, and you’ll be able to get a lot more done overall.
Smaller tasks tend to drain your energy and motivation. The fact that they also have a propensity to continue piling up makes it likely you’ll find yourself in a near-endless loop. Contrast completing a big task. You feel accomplished, and after a short break, you’ll be plenty motivated to tackle another. This isn’t to say that you should completely ignore your smaller tasks, though. Rather, limit them to a specific segment of the day and bang them all out at that time.
2. Let Technology Guide You
You need to keep track of what you’re doing, when you need to do it, and how much time you’re spending on it. To take the complication out of this task, allow technology to lend you a hand. Availability of information is extremely useful at the time being. Don’t spend a ton of time trying to squeeze in a flight to a client in your tight schedule.
Search for an empty leg flight on a private jet charter and enjoy the commodity while working. Instead of wasting so much of your time catching a flight that does not meet your needs, personalize yours so that you can get out the best of it. Additionally, other apps can help keep you on target without a ton of hassle. It’s like having a calendar, timer, and organizer all-in-one. Stick to your schedule, and watch your productivity soar. You can also use technology to block out distractions. Online filters, site blockers, and other apps can keep you honest and curb the natural tendency to lollygag when you’re supposed to be focusing.
3. Don’t Worry About 100%
Perfectionism is the bane of the modern worker. We spend an inordinate amount of time trying to make things “100 percent,” failing to realize that 80 percent or 85 percent would do. Expert after expert will tell you that trying to make things perfect wastes efficiency, so take their advice and stop stressing!
Instead, pay attention to the big picture, remember that you will make mistakes, strike while the “iron is hot,” and don’t overthink every possible scenario. Prepare as best you can, and trust that your skills will guide you.
4. Start Saying “No”
Biting off more than you can chew is a surefire way to kill your momentum. Instead of doing everything that everyone asks of you, right when they ask you, learn to say the magic word: “No.” Knowing “when to fold them,” so to speak, will save you a lot of headaches, and you’ll be better able to prioritize your tasks since you’ll have less extraneous ones on your plate.
5. Limit Your Emails
Similar to our first task, this goes to limiting the non-essential parts of our workday to increase productivity and free up more time. Getting bogged down by constantly checking emails is no way to maximize your efforts. You can still check your emails, obviously, but try to limit that to one or two times a day. You’ll find yourself zipping through your important work at breakneck speed when you aren’t stopping every five minutes to read another message.
Thanks a lot for your precious time!

Thanks a lot, Marcella, yu even made time for me 🙂 I truly appreciate that! I am very much the same as you, but sometimes we got to say NO, as it can get overwhelming at times.
