Your Ultimate Shopping Guide

Is your idea of looking hot a sexy tight dress and high heels, but whatever’s underneath is of less concern for you? Or are you more of a gal that wouldn’t leave a house without sexy lace underwear? In fact, there are confirmed theories that women get an instant boost of self-confidence when they wear full-on sexy lingerie underneath their formal working clothes. There is something to it, right? An idea that those unflattering pantyhose under a skirt are in fact stockings and a garter belt.

Let’s leave that to someone else’s imagination, but ladies do very much enjoy some quality Victoria’s Secret time and they treat themselves from time to time with a nice bustier that usually ends up in a drawer, waiting for that special occasion to be worn, and then, somehow, it ends up forgotten and unused. Familiar ?

Sexy underwear doesn’t necessarily have to be uncomfortable; it’s all about finding the right fit, and when you do, you’ll want to wear it every day.

   – Bras

There are so many different bra styles that you can choose from depending on your preferred comfort vs sexy appeal level and your chest size. However, the latter shouldn’t limit your choice, as you can still pull off anything if you choose the right size. Still, there are girls that would never wear an unlined bra for example.

Speaking of, an unlined bra gives the most freedom and comfort, without any padding and bulking. They are quite subtle and girly, but for a hint of naughtiness, pick a see-through lace unlined bra.

On the other hand, if your chest needs a bit of support, you’ll need a bra that’s wired and has some padding. A famous push-up bra is hailed and praised for its boob enhancing abilities. If you want to show your cleavage and add up to two sizes to your chest – pick a push-up that has very thick and firm padding. If you like to show shoulder, go for a strapless push-up bra.

Slightly more subtle, but still equally sexy is a balconette bra. It’s half cut cups make it ideal for wearing under almost any kind of clothing, and it’s highly flattering in every size and shape. The sexiness of a balconette bra can vary depending on the design, ruffles and bows that add to your feminine and romantic side, while satin and lace in daring colors glam it up a little.

   – Panties

The wrong choice of undies can do you more wrong than wearing Bridget Jones’ absolutely enormous granny panties. VPL-visible panty lines are a real struggle for everyone who knows it, and muffin tops from wearing low-waisted panties can disrupt your figure. So, one way to avoid visible panty lines is to wear a thong. It’s a universally sexy women underwear so you can’t go wrong there, but if that’s past your pain threshold, there are specially designed laser-cut panties with smooth edges that don’t show up on whatever you’re wearing.

Almost any kind of underwear can look sexy and provocative if you add a touch of silk, lace or ruffle on it. You’ll know it when you see it. If you want something extra special, window briefs with peekaboo cutouts hypothetically cover your bum, but their whole point is about being cheeky, literally.

   – Shapewear

There’s no harm in helping yourself with body shaping lingerie. Whether you’re in need of a full body control dress, shaping shorts or an every day perfectly fitted girdle that erases any imperfections, don’t think they can’t look as flattering and sexy as that dress you’re stuttering in.

If an hourglass figure is your desired shape, you’re probably familiar with corsets. Nothing will define your waist like a good quality corset, so don’t buy any pseudo corset imitations instead of a real deal, steel boned corsets, and wear it responsibly and occasionally. Its great perk is that it perfects your posture as well as defines your waist.

If you don’t like the complexity of lacing a corset, you can define your waist with waist cinchers. Also, you can incorporate a whole pack in this look, a balconette bra, panties of your choice, a waist cincher attached to stockings. You don’t have to wait for Valentine’s day to do so.

If you like your bras and pants to be in one piece, sexy bodysuits are your pick. They can be both sexy and functional. They add support if you opt for a padded and wired upper part, plus they can shape your waist with a simple strap around it. You can even show a little preview if you’re wearing a long sleeve or high-neck bodysuit under a blazer. A bareback body with lacing is incredibly sexy, as well as a sexy double V neckline.

I definitely feel a confidence boost in lingerie, but I couldn’t imagine wearing it to work – no thanks! The best confidence boost of all is progress in the gym.

with a large bust and unable to wear underwired I have struggled for years to get something pretty to wear, i used to wear sports bras until they changed the design and I got bigger still! I was then back to utility type “doreen” which still wasn’t a great fit until 6 years ago when i was introduced to a small lingerie shop where the amazing lady never used a tape measure and suggested of all things a maternity bra from the amazing Hotmilk range, this week I just ordered 3 new ones on line as unfortunately my lovely ladies shop has shut and there are no stockist near me and they still fit and they are still beautiful.
